On 25 January 2015, the HandyGames™ Charity Day took place for the second time ever. The event, which aims at raising awareness and support the battle against cancer, attracted a great number of visitors: around 2,000 people came to the s.Oliver Arena in Würzburg to see handball for a good cause.
The exciting game, in which our local handball heroes DJK Rimpar Wölfe competed with the Bundesliga club FRISCHAUF! Göppingen, kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
The HandyGames™ Charity Day 2015 was a complete success: € 51,048 were raised to support Hilfe im Kampf gegen Krebs e.V. (Battle against Cancer Association) and the youth section of DJK Rimpar Handball.
